Archwood UCC

Community Ministries

at Archwood United Church of Christ

In addition to Sunday worship at 11 a.m., here are regular meetings and activities taking place at the church:
  • Alcoholics Anonymous (Español): Each Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, 7 p.m., Third Floor Room.
  • Retired Steelworkers: First Tuesday of each month, 11 a.m., Fellowship Hall.

Discount fruit & veggie sales. Without a supermarket or farmer's market in our immediate part of the West Side, we're doing our bit with these occasional produce sales. Watch for announcements! All are welcome to come and buy -- or help sell! Interested? Get information from Archwood member Dale Lindsey, (810) 333-0816. Our first two sales were on Oct. 10 and Nov. 14, 2015, on the steps and sidewalk in front of the church. During bad weather we'll move indoors.
Adult Education Book Group. About every season, we put together a book group, where we decide on a book to read together and have discussion groups about the chapters we've read. Books are free of charge as a church mission, and everyone is welcome to join in on these discussions even if they haven't read the book. Contact Terri Hisel at for more information.
Events, meetings and activities can be held in our bright, large sanctuary . . .
... in our basement Fellowship Hall (with kitchen!) ...
...or in any of several smaller spaces.

Interested in reserving a space? Please call the church office at 216-351-1060.
